Locksmith is one of the most scam-prone categories online. Competitors hide pricing, use stock photos, and bait-and-switch on the doorstep. Sharp wins by doing the opposite. We built a 9-page site where every design choice (pricing, photos, voice, color) is a trust signal.
01
The Challenge
Search 'locksmith near me' in almost any city and you get a wall of fake businesses with stock photos and vague pricing. Customers have learned to expect deception. They search with their guard up, usually on a phone, outside, locked out, stressed.
Sharp's actual differentiators (published flat rates, W-2 named technicians, no-charge guarantee) are real, but invisible if the site looks like every other locksmith listing.

What We Did
Trust signals above the fold
License number, live response-time estimate, real photo of a named technician with their tenure, and a tap-to-call CTA, all visible before the first scroll. The hero is the trust pitch.
Published, monospaced pricing
A pricing page styled like a printed receipt. Flat rates listed, after-hours rates listed, edge cases written in a friend-explaining-it tone rather than legalese. The category cliché this breaks: 'starting at $19'.
Calm visual identity
Ink navy + Signal amber + Trust green. No red emergency colors, no yellow stars, no flashy gradients (the category clichés). Inter Display for headlines, JetBrains Mono for numbers. Numbers look mechanical and exact.
Mobile-first emergency UX
Tap-to-call on every viewport, sticky bottom CTA on mobile, 48px tap targets, no autoplay, no modals on load. The buyer is stressed and outside on a phone. Every interaction respects that.
